Friendship Bracelets with a Lifesaving Twist!
How It Works
1. Scan: When someone finds a bracelet, they simply scan the embedded NFC tag with their smartphone. NFC reader can be tricky to find and worse case you might have to look it up.
2. View: The scan allows you to open a unique page on this website, displaying crucial public information like first name, allergies, or emergency notes – whatever you choose to share.
3. Alert: Simultaneously, an alert is sent to the registered guardian(s) with the time and approximate location of the scan, helping you reconnect quickly.
Get Started
1. Register: Make a new account here (or go the the dashboard if you have one already).
2. Create a new bracelet: Add the info you want to share on the dashboard.
3. Buy (optional): Buy a new bracket and let us know the ID so we can create and program it for you! We'll choose beads based on the allergies and what you share in the private notes. If you want to make your own, grab an NFC chip with a sticker, put it on a bead, use an app on your phone like NFC Tools to write your url from the dashboard to the chip.
